Important First Steps

Change of environment, surroundings, separation from siblings, and a new family can be stressful to your puppy and can have a serious impact on your puppy’s immediate health, especially during the first 7 days in their new environment. If you notice any signs of stress: such as a change in attitude, appetite, bowel movements, lack of bowel movement, or any other symptoms please contact us on our 24-hour puppy care line: 470-473-3919 or your veterinarian.

One of the most important factors to consider for a new puppy parent is: Is my puppy eating enough? Also, give plenty of downtime and rest for your new puppy. In any case, if you have any concerns please call us at 470-473-3919, we are here to help and answer all your questions.

Initial Health Guarantee

My Cute Pups LLC. guarantees to the original purchaser (warranty is not transferable) that your puppy is healthy at the time of adoption and free from the following infectious diseases: Parvo Virus, Distemper, Hepatitis, Corona Virus for a period of 7 days from the date of taking possession. Should your veterinarian diagnose any of the above diseases within the 7 day period after taking possession you must notify us immediately at 470-473-3919. At your option, we will replace or refund the puppy.

My Cute Pups LLC. guarantees our puppies at the time of sale against life-threatening congenital problems or diseases. These include Distemper, Parvo, and Coronavirus. The Buyer must take their puppy to a licensed veterinarian within 7 days after receiving the puppy. The seller must be informed IMMEDIATELY by email or in writing of any unforeseen life-threatening diseases or conditions found by the buyer's Vet.

Failure to notify the seller IMMEDIATELY or failure to take the puppy to the vet within 7 days of ownership cancels this guarantee. If the buyers' Vet finds a life-threatening disease or condition, then the puppy will be returned to the breeder within 7 days with a certificate from the vet identifying the problem. The buyer will pay all shipping or delivery costs. The seller assumes no responsibility for veterinarian bills incurred by the buyer.

 

The buyer will be compensated for the cost of the puppy or given a replacement puppy.

The seller guarantees that the puppy will be up to date on shots and de-worming at the time of sale. Infectious diseases, fleas, ticks, worms, etc. contacted after the puppy is transferred to the buyer are not covered under the replacement guarantee. We at My Cute Pups LLC. recommend that you vaccinate your puppy at 12 and 16 weeks followed by a booster vaccine at 1 year of age. Please speak with your Vet about additional vaccinations, as some may recommend more. Strict adherence to the vaccine schedule is a must.

 

Please be aware that vaccinations sometimes fail for various reasons, and a dog does not develop full immunity to some diseases until they are a full-year-old and have had all their puppy shots, including a booster at the age of 1 year. From the date of transfer forward the buyer will be responsible for all veterinary costs and care.  My Cute Pups LLC. makes no other warranty, written or implied; and is not liable for any other veterinary bills or any other cost. This guarantee is void if the puppy is sold, given away, or transferred to anyone other than the original buyer. My Cute Pups LLC. the general health of all of our puppies, according to our veterinarian examinations.

 

The buyer has read and understands this guarantee. A copy of this guarantee must be returned to the seller or the health guarantee is void. We appreciate your business and will work with you the best we can in the event something unforeseen should occur. All of our pets are cared for by My Cute Pups LLC. Staff and each pet are examined by a licensed Veterinarian and cleared for general health, which includes microchipping unless otherwise noted prior to their adoption.

• I understand that I assume full responsibility for the welfare of this pet from the date of adoption.

Prescriptions:
We offer the following prescription reimbursement if diagnosed within 10 days of taking possession.

• Cough/respiratory – Will reimburse for 1 round of antibiotics (azithromycin or doxycycline) or 1 injection of Convenia. (We don’t recommend Clavamox as it often has disappointing results)

• Pre-existing Protozoan or parasite. — Will reimburse for 1 round of prescription medication

WE DO NOT COVER:

• Non-life threatening conditions examples: inguinal and umbilical hernias, retained testicles, recessed vulva, and cherry eyes. 

• X-rays without prior approval.

• Grade 1 or 2 luxating patellas

• Parasites such as giardia, coccidia or other common types of parasite except as outlined above and diagnosed within the specific timeframes.

• Respiratory infections 

• Low blood sugar (hypo-glycemia). This is preventable and it is your responsibility to make sure your puppy is eating enough.

• Diagnostics related to grade 1 or 2 heart murmurs. 

• Any infectious diseases contracted after date of sale.

• Allergies

• Malocclusions-(crooked teeth placement) As your puppy grows and develops the teeth are ever-changing and it can be difficult to predict their final placement. Due to this, we do not cover any costs associated with any dental or bite abnormalities or vet bills associated with your puppy’s teeth.

• Any diagnostic tests without prior approval.

• Any claims or vet bills other than medication reimbursements as described above.

• Acceptance of goods: Buyer understands that there are not any guarantees of hypoallergenic qualities, breeding qualities, show qualities, or in final size or disposition of any pet whether expressed or implied. Buyer agrees that upon delivery of puppy to them or local pick up of puppy by them, that they have carefully examined puppy and accepts puppy as is with regard to physical appearance and breed conformation. Buyer understands and agrees that under no circumstances will any claim be made by the buyer with regards to any DNA test results or opinion disputing breed. These tests are for informational purposes and not intended to determine or validate whether a particular dog is purebred or the make-up of a particular dog and the buyer agrees to hold the seller harmless from any such claims.

• In the case of sudden death: A necropsy will be required to file a warranty claim to determine the cause of death.

We do not cover any warranty claim from the Animal Clinic Chain Banfield (Petsmart) and Thrive Affordable Vet Care (Petco). We have made this decision because our clients have had disappointing experiences with them in the past and we want all of our puppies to have a positive vet experience.

My Cute Pups LLC. believes all dogs should be in a home, therefore if you are unable to keep your dog or find your dog another home you are to contact us to relinquish your dog into the homes for life program. We do not allow our dogs to be relinquished into any shelters or rescue groups.

We do not offer cash refunds other than the initial 10-day health guarantee as noted above. If you believe you are eligible for a warranty claim, please contact us within 72 hours. My Cute Pups LLC reserves the right to update and/or modify this warranty at any time with or without notice.
